European Heavyweights Not Considering Move For Newcastle United Star

Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes is not currently under consideration by Paris Saint-Germain, according to journalist Ben Jacobs.

 

Guimaraes has flourished at Newcastle since joining the club from French outfit Lyon and is a key man for Eddie Howe.

 

Newcastle were able to provide the midfielder with Champions League football this season, but may struggle to do so again next term.

 

 

 

It has been speculated that the Brazilian midfielder is a player of interest for European heavyweights PSG.

 

The Parc des Princes outfit are not currently considering making a move to try to sign Guimaraes though.

 

 

Newcastle would likely fiercely resist any move for the midfielder, who is viewed as a crucial part of the St James’ Park project.

 

This season so far, Guimaraes has made 19 appearances for Newcastle in the Premier League, going into the book on a substantial eight occasions.

 

 

He has hit the back of the net once, against Sheffield United in a 8-0 romp.
