Reacting to the incident, Union minister for home affairs Nishith Pramanik said, "The central government has taken the matter very seriously. This incident is very unfortunate... When a central agency is in a state, it is the responsibility of the state government to provide them security and safety. I express my empathy with those who were attacked today.”
