Former President Ram Nath Kovind's 'One Nation, One Election' panel has received over 5,000 public suggestions on simultaneous polls. The high-level committee has held two meetings and written to political parties seeking their views on the idea. Letters were sent to six national parties, 33 state parties, and seven registered unrecognised parties.
