‘It’s a shame’ says Geordie Shore’s James Tindale as he breaks silence on Gaz’s return to show after marriage split
JAMES Tindale has broken his silence on rumours Gaz Beadle will return to Geordie Shore.
Following Gaz’s split from wife Emma McVey in October last year fans started to speculate about a possible comeback after he quit the show focus on family life.
He even snubbed Geordie Shore’s 10-year reunion in 2021.
During an exclusive interview with The Sun ahead of the new series, Sophie Kasaei recalled an Instagram Q&A in which Gaz, 35, told fans he wouldn’t be returning.
James Tindale said: “It’s a shame.” But revealing his thoughts on why Gaz seems to reluctant to return, he continued: “He hasn’t got that bond with the rest of the cast, maybe he thinks ‘oh I don’t really talk to anyone. If I come back, is it gonna be awkward?’
“Really it wouldn’t be. Yeah, for the first 10 minutes we might be asking a few questions and wanna know what’s going on but then it would be like he never left.”
Emma was reportedly left blindsided after Gaz announced their split during another Instagram Q&A with fans.
He told his followers: “We split three weeks ago.
“We are still friends, there is no bad blood or anything and we have worked out the best way of doing it for the kids, which for me and Emma is always going to be the most important thing.
“We both deserve to be happy as well as being parents.”
The couple are parents to Chester, five, and three-year-old Primrose.
