A MAKEUP pro has shared the trick she uses to give herself an instant facelift.
The beauty expert demonstrated the handy powder hack for her followers.
In her video, Erica Taylor (@ericataylor2347) showed her followers how to perfect the “powder facelift.”
“As we mature and things drop, we start to get the hollowing around the nose and this fat pad moves down here and we get this situation,” the 47-year-old said, pointing at her smile lines.
The TikToker demonstrated with both pink and lavender powders on either side of her face.
“For the pink powder facelift, you have to do the powder right there and look at that, instant gratification,” Erica said as she added the powder to the top of her smile line.
She explained that she likes to focus on “the hollows” and doesn’t “go wild under the eye.”
Before she moved on to the other side of her face, Erica compared the lines on either side of her mouth.
She then used the lavender powder to tackle the smile line on the other side of her face.
“We’re going right in the hollow, right next to the nose,” Erica explained.
“All right and she’s gone, see? Both successful,” the makeup expert said.
She joked that the hack worked so well that she looked like she had a blur filter on her face.
“This is 47 filter-free, let’s get in there, so you can see the pores and texture [on the nose] but this and this, so smooth,” Erica said, zooming in on either side of her mouth.
“I like them both, the lavender is a little brighter but the pink is a little more neutral,” she explained.
“I guess if you’re super fair, the lavender would be the way to go but if you’re medium-toned, you would go with more of the pink,” Erica concluded.
TikTok users took to the comments section to share their thoughts on the hack.
“I think the lavender is brighter and actually did a better blur. Both are beautiful,” wrote one viewer.
“I think the lavender gives you more of a lifting effect,” said another follower.
“Ooooh, I like them both! Pink looks more matte to me which I like because I’m an oily chick!” commented a third person.
