Sensex, Nifty, Share Prices LIVE: Asian markets experienced a notable upswing on Thursday, following the positive momentum in US stocks ahead of the release of inflation data. Japanese blue-chip stocks, buoyed by gains in US tech shares, reached their highest levels in over three decades. The depreciation of the yen against the dollar contributed to the increase in stock values. In early trade, the Nikkei 225 surged by 1.40%, reaching 34,924.99, and the Topix index rose by 1.47% to 2,480.53. Other Asian markets, including South Korea’s KOSPI, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng, and Australia’s S&P/ASX 200, also recorded gains. The previous day saw the Dow Jones, S&P 500, and Nasdaq Composite posting positive closing in the US market.
