I’m a single mum-of-three & constantly trolled for my youngest’s ‘chavvy’ name but I don’t get why – I love it
A SINGLE mum-of-three has hit back at trolls slamming her youngest daughter’s “chavvy” name.
Emily has a five-year-old, a 23-month-old and a three-month-old, called Tallulah-Rose, Orlah and Starlah respectively.
She “re-introduced” herself in a TikTok video when she detailed her life as a stay-at-home mum, and also revealed her girls’ names.
“I’m Emily, I’m a single 22-year-old mum to three girls,” she wrote over a video of herself with her two youngest.
“My eldest goes to school and I’m a SAHM to the two youngest.
“We have recently just moved into our forever home – slowly adjusting to our new environment
“My girls are called Tallulah-Rose, Orlah and Starlah
“I went viral back in 2020 on a post I made about having my first at 15.
“Now I just enjoy posting little videos of us having fun.”
“Hey!” she captioned her video.
But in the comments section, one troll was quick to take aim at Emily’s newest arrival’s name.
“Starlah??? God talk about chavvy, poor kid,” they wrote.
With Emily hitting back: “What on earth is chavvy about Starlah?”
“Her name is literally star,” the troll then responded.
“Like what?? You know she has to grow up and be an adult in this world.
“Get a real job and all?”
And Emily then replied writing: “No, her name is Starlah.
“Yes we do call her star sometimes however it’s Starlah.”
Other people were much more complimentary about Emily’s name choice for her girls.
“Your girls names are so unique,” one praised.
As another said: “Love their names!”
“So much respect for single mummies,” a third commented.
“I had 3 children by the time I was 23, love that I had my children young,” someone else said.
While another called Emily a “superwoman”.
“Lovely xx I’ve got two babas and a big boy xx” another wrote.
