Tottenham Hotspur Star In Italy For Medical Ahead Of Move

Djed Spence is undergoing a medical this morning ahead of completing a loan move to Genoa from Tottenham Hotspur.

 

Spence has travelled to Italy to complete the formalities of a loan move to Genoa in the ongoing transfer window.

 

The Italian club have agreed to sign the defender on loan as part of the deal that will soon see Radu Dragusin join Tottenham on a permanent transfer.

 

 

 

The right-back is keen to play regular football after spending the first half of the season on loan at Leeds United, where he was largely injured.

 

According to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, Spence is being put through a medical at the Casa della Salute medical centre in the Genoese district of Quarto.

 

 

The defender is being put through his paces as Genoa look to determine his fitness ahead of signing him on loan.

 

Once the medical is done, the defender will travel to Genoa’s training base to sign the loan contract.

 

 

Tottenham have agreed to pay his full wages during the loan stint as part of the Dragusin deal.

 

Genoa have an option to make Spence’s move permanent for a fee in the region of €10m.
