New York authorities on Thursday responded to the home of the judge overseeing former President Donald Trump's high-profile Manhattan trial after a bomb threat was made against the justice.
There were threats that multiple "fertilizer bombs" were planted around the Long Island home of New York Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron, a court source who spoke on the condition of anonymity told Business Insider.
The incident came ahead of closing arguments in Trump's civil fraud trial, which Engoron has been presiding over.
State court system spokesman Al Baker told reporters, "At this moment, we believe that the proceedings are going ahead as scheduled today."
