‘Game changing’ hack makes your home smell 10/10 and you’ve already got the product in your cupboard
A WOMAN has shared five hacks that will make your home smell amazing in no time.
And don’t worry, you won’t need to go out and splash the cash on expensive cleaning products, as luckily for you, you’ll most likely have the answers in your cupboards already.
Millie May Sampson, an interior lover and cleaning fan recently took to social media to share her advice on how to ensure your home smells fresh, without needing to use candles or diffusers.
She wrote: “Five ways to make your home smell 10/10.”
Millie then explained: “Add some Zoflora to your sink, dilute it with boiling hot water to make the room smell amazing.”
To make this hack go to the next level, she advised: “Shut the door to keep the steam in.”
Secondly, she advised using tumble dryer sheets in your pillows, as she added: “Add tumble dryer sheets to all of your pillows. Don’t forget the pillows on your bed and clothes drawers too.”
Not only this, but she then shared her simple radiator trick, as she explained: “Mix up your favourite fabric conditioner with some warm water and wipe this across any radiators in the house. Turn the heating on too!”
As well as this, Millie swears by a simple loo roll hack, as she shared: “Soak some kitchen roll with Zoflora and wipe it on the inside of your toilet rolls. This keeps your bathroom smelling so nice!”
Finally, Millie’s told her followers about her game changing kitchen hack, as she wrote: “Add some fabric conditioner and water to a pan and leave it on a low heat for an hour. A game changer!”
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @homewithmillie, has clearly impressed many, as it was shared just 17 hours ago, but has quickly amassed 64,300 views.
But social media users were left divided – while some were stunned at the ‘genius’ hacks, not everyone was as keen.
One person said: “Why did I never think of those tumble dryer sheets in pillows?! Genius.”
To this, Millie replied: “Isn’t it? Makes such a difference.”
Whilst another added: “Please be careful with fabric softener. It’s flammable.
“There are plenty of other things you can do that avoids using it to make your home smell nice.”
At the same time, many other cleaning fans took to the comments to share their tips and tricks.
One commented: “Dryer sheets on warm radiators too, smells amazing!”
Whilst someone else claimed: “Also Yankee candle plug in amber and sandalwood is 10/10.”
