Bayern Munich announce shock Eric Dier transfer as Tottenham ace joins Harry Kane in ‘dream come true’
BAYERN MUNICH has confirmed the signing of Eric Dier from Tottenham.
The defender arrives for a fee believed to be in the region of £3.5million.
The two clubs agreed a fee earlier this week after Spurs confirmed the acquisition of centre-back Radu Dragusin, who Bayern also tried to sign.
Dier has agreed an 18-month contract, which includes an option to extend his stay by a further 12 months.
After his move was announced the former England international said: “This move is a dream come true for me, because as a child you want to play for a club like Bayern one day.
“Bayern is one of the biggest clubs in the world and has an incredible history. I want to help the team with my versatility in defence.
“I’m really looking forward to my new teammates and the fans at the Allianz Arena, which in my eyes is one of the best stadiums in the world.”
