Alphabet's Waymo to launch driverless service in LA
LOS ANGELES, California: On January 19, Alphabet's autonomous driving unit Waymo said it had applied to expand its driverless service in Los Angeles (LA) at the California Public Utilities Commission.
A license would allow Waymo, which operates only in San Francisco, to fully run its fleet in California's largest city.
