Trump has another senior moment live in Fox interview

Donald Trump had another senior moment when speaking to a reporter from the Fox network Monday in New Hampshire.

The latest cautionary advice by the 45th president was about gas prices as well as some other confused thoughts.

"Gasoline was under $2," he said. "Now, it's very high. Coming down because they're doing — they're throwing everything they possibly can to get it —"

He then warned that gas prices will cripple America.

"But right after the election, if that ever happened. You just better hope to God it doesn't happen where he gets in because he's destroying this country," he rambled.

The less-than-precise logic has drawn some eyebrow-raising at a time Trump's mental stability is being questioned.

ABC News' Jon Karl marveled at the fact that Trump has made multiple gaffes in recent days. There have been several moments on the campaign trail where he has seemed, quite frankly, out of it," he said.

Trump, 77, blamed Republican presidential opponent Nikki Haley for rejecting security offered by his administration on Jan. 6 and accused Haley of getting rid of the evidence. Haley had nothing to do with Jan. 6 and wasn't in office then. Trump presumably mixed up Nancy Pelosi and Haley.

“They destroyed all of the information, all of the evidence, everything, deleted and destroyed all of it,” he said.

Haley shot back to make her opinion crystal clear, saying that Trump's fitness between the ears isn't up to snuff.

"The concern I have is — I’m not saying anything derogatory — but when you’re dealing with the pressures of the presidency, we can’t have someone else that we question whether they’re mentally fit to do this," she said.

And even President Joe Biden hit back at his former (and possibly future) foe.

"I don’t agree with Nikki Haley on everything, but we agree on this much: She is not Nancy Pelosi," he posted in a tweet.

On Nov. 30, 2020, weeks after the election — the national gas price average crept up two cents to $2.12. The country was still in the doldrums of COVID-19 pandemic and significantly fewer cars were traversing American highways.

Today, the national average for a gallon of gas stands at $3.07.

In Trump world, the entire gas industry went off the rails and started shooting up.
