Molly-Mae Hague cruelly mum-shamed as she reveals very muted decorations for daughter’s first birthday
MOLLY-MAE has been slammed for her party planning skills on social media, as her daughter Bambi Fury turns one.
The business-owner and former reality star has left her fans with raised eyebrows as she revealed a luxurious white party theme for Bambi’s first birthday.
Molly took to Instagram to show off the aesthetically-pleasing birthday bash, which was decked from ceiling to floor in a colour palette of classic white with snow-white accents.
In the string of photos, Molly and Bambi rocked matching white outfits, with even the buffet of sweet treats being pearl toned.
However, fans of the star were less than impressed with the chalky decor.
From the clear and white balloons, to two snow white cakes and matching cupcakes – some felt that the colourless affair was a “boring” theme.
One follower fumed: “ITS A ONE YEAR OLDS BIRTHDAY!!!! WHERE IS THE COLOUR!!!! you’re mental all for the gram???!!! Get a grip.”
A second agreed: “Why’s everything so boring tho? White white pristine white.. where’s the colour? Especially for a baby it doesn’t look like a birthday.”
A third added: “Literally NO colour for a first birthday?? How sad.”
Another wrote: “Beautiful. A bit of colour in her life wouldn’t go amiss, babies and children need colour for so many reasons xx.”
Some pointed out that Molly’s colourful home-made cake stole the show.
The star had previously explained she had purchased the recipe book her mum had used to bake her child-hood cakes.
Molly is attempting to keep up the tradition by baking Bambi a home-made cake every year.
The creative cake was house-shaped, covered in sprinkles and sweets and clearly took pride of place as Molly held it up to the camera.
One social media user commented: “Obsessed with your cake!! you smashed it! Your mum should be very proud!!”
Another added: “You did amazing with the cake – what a lovely tradition to carry on from your mum. Happy Birthday Bambi.”
Molly wrote alongside the sweet snaps: “My one year old. Happy first Birthday to my little girl…I love you more every single day.
“You’re so beyond special Bambi… I’m so proud to call you my daughter.”
