Non-stop King Charles is not a quitter and will put his best foot forward in service of the nation
THE King put his best foot forward yesterday — and showed he’s full of cheer.
He waved to the crowd and thanked them for their wishes. And he means that.
He’s a driven man. As King, he could easily take it easy. But not him. Charles is non-stop.
He will not quit. When he had a serious chest infection he carried on working. And it’s the same now.
When we’re told we have cancer, nothing else matters in our lives. All we want to hear is good news.
And we’re hopeful the King will hear good news.
We prayed for him at church yesterday and I’m sure the nation wants him to pull through.
His announcement of an op for an enlarged prostate was the first time I’d ever heard details of what was wrong with a royal.
He’s going to get the finest treatment possible and Camilla will be by his side — probably making sure he doesn’t work too hard.

We were told he was going to church — and showing that he’s coping well with his setback.

He received thousands of these messages because — although he’s not long into his reign — he’s impressed so many.
His speeches have been sensational since becoming King.

He said in one that we have to put ourselves in our neighbour’s shoes and be kind to people.
