Pakistan's recent general elections revealed that the number of rejected ballots exceeded the margin of victory in at least 24 National Assembly constituencies. The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) won 13 out of these constituencies, while the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) claimed five. Both parties are in a position to form a coalition government in the Centre, but PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif announced that all parties except PTI should join hands.
