A United Nations report reveals that almost half of the world's migratory species, including songbirds, sea turtles, whales, and sharks, are facing population decline due to threats such as habitat loss, illegal hunting, pollution, and climate change. Of the nearly 1,200 monitored species, over 20% are at risk of extinction.
