Love Island All Stars shock as former couple Molly and Callum ‘go on a date’ – but there’s a twist
LOVE Island fans desperate for a reunion between exes Molly Smith and Callum Jones will tonight get what they’ve been waiting for when they go on a date.
The moment gets villa tongues wagging – but it’s not what it seems.
The former couple, who dated for three years on the outside before splitting in September, are currently paired with Tom Clare and Jess Gale respectively.
And they unite to cook breakfast to set up a double date.
Callum says to Molly: “Who would have thought we’d be making breakfast not for each other, but someone else….”
Later tucking into their french toast, Callum says to Tom: “I bet you thought when you come in the kitchen what are them two doing together?”
Tom jokes: “Those guys are back together…”
Fans of the dating show were initially suspicious of whether the pair’s split was genuine.
But over the last few weeks, viewers of All Stars have become obsessed with the idea they will get back together and want to see it happen before the series ends.
Tonight’s episode will also see the Islanders take part in the infamous Heart Rate Challenge – with fans convinced Molly and Callum will spike each other’s pulses.
Truth behind their split
Last month, The Sun revealed the real reason behind their split.
A source close to Molly told us: “It all began when Molly started to say to Callum that she thought they should look at buying a house together instead of continuing to rent.
“She just thought they were wasting money so it made financial sense.
“Obviously as far as she was concerned they were pretty solid – they had two dogs after all – so didn’t see it as a big deal.
“But Callum totally freaked out.
“The idea of that next level of commitment sent it all sideways and was the catalyst for lots of rows.
“He totally changed after that and became really cold. That was the beginning of the end.”
After meeting during Casa Amor in Cape Town in 2020, Callum and Molly became one of the dating show’s most genuine pairings.
They had set up home together in Manchester.
When they split Molly kept Pomeranian, Nelly, and Callum took Winnie the pug.
