‘You’re like Santa,’ people say as mum-of-22 Sue Radford reveals post & donations reach their home without an address
MANY people will know the frustration of post not reaching their house if the address is written slightly wrong.
However, Sue Radford, mum of Britain’s biggest family was left baffled after receiving mail without any part of her house number, street name or postcode.
Taking to Instagram, Sue revealed she had been sent a letter which said: “Sue Radford, Britain’s biggest family, Morecambe.”
Sue was left shocked that the mail had found their 10-bedroom Lancashire home – with some fans likening her to “Santa” (after kids send letters to him at the ‘North Pole’).
Implying it wasn’t the first time it had happened, Sue said: “This always makes me laugh how letters like this find it to us.”
Sue revealed the letter was from a “lovely lady who’s husband has just been cured of cancer.”
The envelope contained money for the Walker family – who are pals with the Radfords.
Sue has been friends with mum Rebecca and her 10 kids since 2013, and has been helping raise vital funds for Rebecca’s daughter Sophie, 17, as she bravely continues to battle the rare cancer.
Sophie had been diagnosed with a Wilms tumour – a type of kidney cancer – on October 25 2017, and started a four-week course of chemotherapy shortly after.
In the years since, she has gone into remission twice – but relapsed four times.
Throughout this time, Sophie’s twin sister, Megan, 17 has been experiencing many of the same symptoms, despite not having the disease herself.
Who are Sue and Noel Radford?
Sue and Noel Radford shot to fame in 2012 as the parents of Britain’s largest brood, landing a brand new series with Channel 5 in 2021.
They are parents to Chris, 34, Sophie, 30, Chloe, 28, Jack, 26, Daniel, 24, Luke, 23, Millie, 22, Katie, 21, James, 20, Ellie, 18, Aimee, 17, Josh, 16, Max, 15, Tillie, 13, Oscar, 12, Casper, 11, Hallie, eight, Phoebe, seven, Archie, six, Bonnie, five and Heidie, three.
Sadly the couple’s 17th child Alfie was still born on July 6, 2014.

As the family searched for a new house, Sue and Noel found their dream property – but there was a big problem – it was too small.
Faced with a difficult decision, the Radford couple were left to make a challenging choice – do they move house and split up their family, or stay put?
At the start of the episode, the couple shared one of the main reasons why they were keen to move – the lack of privacy.

While we’ve all experienced nosy neighbours, the Radfords explained that they regularly get keen cold callers visit their family’s home.
After finding their dream seven-bedroom house, Sue and Noel realised the decision would split their family up.
Sue, Noel and the younger children would still be able to move into their dream home, whilst the older children would stay in the family home, learning to budget and live independently.
Noel told the older kids: “You’re going to have to start paying for your own gas, your own electric, your own shopping.”
Whilst Sue chimed in: “It’s been the worst time seeing the family fall apart, but this is the perfect solution. We get to move and they get some independence, and I get to pop round for some hugs.”
