I made mirrored wall decor using only a few Dollar Tree buys – people say it’s modern, chic, and ‘absolutely beautiful’
FINDING wall decor that suits your taste can be an expensive venture.
However, one DIY enthusiast shared her trick for transforming Dollar Tree buys into a statement piece.
In her video, Marci (@daintymarci) used picture frames and mirrors to create wall decor.
“If you know me well then you know I love creating different things,” the TikToker told her audience.
She explained that she would be creating “DIY bedroom decor with items just from Dollar Tree store [that cost] $1.25.”
For her first step, Marci removed the inside of each of the gold-colored frames.
She then used a glue gun to secure the small square mirrors inside each frame.
Next, she arranged the corners of two of the frames to overlap and glued them together.
In the middle of the two frames, she attached a third mirror on its own using a popsicle stick.
Marci then showed her followers the finished decor, three mirrored squares lined up on their sides to resemble a diamond shape.
She showed her viewers all the versions she created, which she hung on the wall of her bedroom.
Marci had arranged the art on either side of her bed in sets of three.
She used a variety of picture frames to add a different color theme to each area.
Marci’s followers shared their thoughts on the DIY project in the comments section.
“Wow, that’s cute, modern, and chic. Get it, girl!!” wrote one TikTok user.
“Those are perfect for my bathroom, the space I have to hang wall decor is so small. I hope I can find these when I go to Dollar Tree,” said another viewer.
“That’s awesome, I need to try this, my walls are bare in my room,” commented a third person.
