‘I feel bad for her’ say furious Love Island fans as they catch All Stars’ Tom ‘recycling lines’ from Samie relationship
EAGLE-EYED Love Island All Stars fans have accused Tom Clare of “recycling” his romantic lines.
They have called out the Macclesfield Town footballer, 24, for what they deem to be a “wild” chat-up strategy towards Molly Smith, 30 – which they first saw implemented towards Samie Elishi, 23, last year.
Things came to a head after Tom and Molly’s stunning scenic first date last week.
Love Island All Stars fans noted how he told Molly how he “did genuinely see you being my girlfriend” in an almost word-for-word dialogue to the lines he told Samie.
They also posted a compare and contrast with his lines to Samie on their day out – where he dubbed it “the best date” – to his “best first date” ever with Molly.
They also posted a clip of his “tunnel vision” for both ladies while many flagged they were both wearing red dresses.
One then took to X to comment: “This is WILD I feel bad for Samie.”
Another put: “Think he’s just boring, all the girls flock to him, he doesn’t have to try have a personality,” as a third commented: “It’s the fact molly was also wearing a red dress like.”
One then put: “This is too funny. After how many years later??” as one mused: “I did think I was watching him be with Molly how he was with Samie and not convinced they’ll stay together after the show…”
A fan then concluded: “I knew it I was like I’ve heard this before.”
2023 ITV2 show stars Tom and Samie – who swiftly became fan favourites – stunned Love Island viewers when they revealed their split last April.
The pair, who came third during the last series, struggled to make the romance work.
Last year, at the time of their split, a source said: “Samie and Tom have sadly decided to call it a day. There is a lot of love and respect there but it just wasn’t going anywhere.
“The distance between them was too much and they are both really focused on their careers post Love Island.”
Yet shortly after, the former couple appeared to be locked in a bitter feud, having traded online swipes for many months.
Samie posted a series of TikTok videos which fans were convinced are aimed at Tom.
Meanwhile, back on All Stars, fans are convinced Molly and her ex Callum will reunite as the heart rate challenge returns.
