North Adams man sentenced to 3 years in prison
PITTSFIELD, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Varian Lefebvre pleaded guilty to three charges in Berkshire Superior Court on February 6. He was sentenced to a total of three years in State Prison and four years in the House of Corrections.

- Armed career felon
The armed career felon charge is a sentencing enhancement stemming from a guilty charge in January 2018. Lefebvre was found guilty of possession to distribute a class A substance in this case.
In September 2020, the North Adams Police Department arrived at Lefebvre's residence to execute a search warrant, and upon Lefebvre's reported refusal to cooperate, they entered the home. Upon executing the search warrant police reported that they found a shotgun and ammunition in Lefebvre's bedroom and placed him in custody.
