Kris Srikkanth delivered a brutal verdict on Bazball: “Catch The Next Flight Home”
IND VS ENG: Veteran Indian batsman Kris Srikkanth issued a harsh Bazball ruling following England’s utter defeat in the third Test match in Rajkot. Mark Wood scored the most runs for England, with 33, but they were bowled out for just 122 runs. Bazball was viewed as a serious threat to the hosts going into the series, but Srikanth feels that the plan has failed and that they haven’t lived up to the expectations around the aggressive style of cricket.
Srikkanth also stated in a video he uploaded to his YouTube page that England had no chance of winning the current series.
“Hopefully, they’ll be able to make the following trip back home. When asked about England’s chances of bouncing back, Srikkanth responded in jest, “But they have to play the remaining two Tests.”

“I believe that the Bazball and other like hypotheses were spread by them. Where has it been effective? Was it successful in the Ashes? To be honest, no plan will be effective if they keep playing this way. This Bazball idea was the talk of the town. I believe they needed the ability to bat in these conditions to support all that rhetoric. To bowl, you have to be talented,” he continued.
India now leads the five-match series 2-1 after the victory in Rajkot.
In addition, Srikkanth expressed his belief that Bazball will succeed in the long run and counseled the England cricket team’s management to adjust as circumstances dictate.
“Yes, they did play good batting in the first. Ollie Pope performed a remarkable knock. I am giving England the credit it deserves.
“I don’t believe Bazball will be successful in the long run. Simply going there and attempting to strike each ball… Ben Stokes and Brendon McCullum, in my opinion, are capable of hitting like that. Not everyone is capable of doing that,” he continued.
