Jaiswal stated following the game, “I’m just trying to make it big whenever I’m set.” Since you never know in Test cricket, I try to play as long as I can once I’m set. It was somewhat challenging at first since I had to play the bowler and the session since I wasn’t scoring runs. Afterward, I could score the runs once I was situated. I knew exactly where I wanted to play my shots and score runs. After a while, I had back pain. It was too much, so much though I didn’t want to, I had to go out.

“Upon my return, I made an effort to give myself space and dive as far as I could. I was aware that if I were present, I would carry the game through to the very end. I knew it was crucial for me to give the team a strong start because, as we have seen, it has a significant impact on the team. (On taking it slow initially) I felt there was something in the wicket and the ball was really hard.
