Jurgen Klopp’s Agent Comments Amid Bayern Munich Link For Liverpool Boss
Jurgen Klopp’s agent has ruled out his client taking charge of Bayern Munich in the summer following his departure from Liverpool.
Klopp announced in January that he would be leaving Liverpool at the end of the season, two years before his contract is due to expire.
He communicated the decision to Liverpool in November last year and the club are now working towards identifying a new manager as well as a new sporting director.
Bayern Munich announced earlier today that Thomas Tuchel will be leaving the German champions at the end of the season as well.
There is talk that Klopp could jump back into management with Bayern Munich after leaving the Reds, but Marc Kosicke, his agent, ruled out such a possibility.
The German has been clear about wanting a break from football for a year and his agent stressed that plan remains unchanged.
Kosicke told Sky Deutschland: “Jurgen Klopp will not coach any club or national team for a year after this current season.
“That remains unchanged.”
Klopp has already claimed that he will never manage another Premier League club in his career.
