Acadiana native known for cooking videos releases her own Cajun seasoning
YOUNGSVILLE, La. (KLFY) – An Acadiana native with nearly 3 million followers on social media now releasing her own Cajun seasoning.
She's beloved for cooking South Louisiana comfort food on social media. Acadiana Native, Britney Landry, also known as "Britscookin" to her almost 3 million followers, started with a pastalaya video with just background music ended up getting her thousands of views. Britney was a stay-at-home mom who simply liked cooking while her kids were at school.
Now with millions sharing and cooking her step by step Cajun recipes, Britscookin has released a "Britscookin" Cajun seasoning. Britney spents 2-3 months testing different recipes for her seasoning before choosing the final product.
Since it's launch earlier this month, the seasoning has been selling out on grocery store shelves. With Britscookin seasoning now available locally at stores like Rouses, the seasoning will be expanding to all 60 locations, including locations outside of the state.
With so much support Britney is thankful and excited about the future for her brand.
