PEAKY Blinders’ Paul Anderson split from his jewellery designer girlfriend Steph Clark before his drug charges.
Pals said the pair quietly broke their romance off before Paul was charged with possession of Class A drugs in December.
A source said: “Paul and Steph broke up a while ago and long before he got into trouble with the police.
“She’s busy cracking on with her life and only wishes him the best.
“Paul has had a hard time but those around him are confident he’ll get back on his feet.”
Arthur Shelby actor Paul, 46, and Steph, who runs a gem business in London, kept their relationship out of the spotlight and he never spoke about her publicly.
The Sun reported in December how Paul was caught with crack cocaine on Boxing day in Camden, north London.
The actor, who stars alongside Cillian Murphy in the BBC hit drama, pleaded guilty to possessing the Class A drug, as well as Class B amphetamines and two Class C prescription substances.
He was fined £1,345 after appearing at Highbury Corner magistrates.
Paul addressed concerned fans after photos of him looking dishevelled were revealed last week.
He said online: “Back to business. Thank you for all your love and concern to everyone.
“I was and have been absolutely flattened by the flu.”
