Coronation Street shock as fan favourite makes surprise return after quitting cobbles
CORONATION Street has aired a shock return for Ryan Connor – months after he quit the cobbles.
The personal trainer – who is played by actor Ryan Prescott in the ITV soap – left Weatherfield last year for a new life in Glasgow with girlfriend Crystal.
But in tonight’s episode it appears that the cobbled streets of drama tempted him back after his life fell apart north of the border.
With ex affair partner Daisy Midgeley finally realising that former love Daniel Osbourne had been lying to her about Bethany Platt’s Chit Chat article, she was at rock bottom.
But as she wallowed in self-pity, she was overjoyed to be snapped out of it when Ryan walked through the doors.
Jenny immediately warned Daisy off Ryan, insisting she was on the rebound.
And likewise Carla warned Ryan off Daisy, saying she would use him and spit him out – again.
But when Ryan confessed his feelings to Daisy sparks flew.
“You can’t be with someone if you’re thinking about someone else 24/7,” he said, explaining why he ended things with Crystal.
“Look, I don’t know where your head’s at and if you just want to be mates then I’m lucky to have you.
“But if you feel the same… I don’t know if you do…”
With that Daisy kissed him and they became an official couple.

However walking into the Rovers they had both Adam Barlow spitting venom and Jenny telling Daisy she was making a huge mistake.
The Rovers landlady warned her that he could find out they took Steven’s money and tell Carla, putting them both at risk.
