Devils acquire F Kurtis MacDermid from Avalanche

The Colorado Avalanche traded forward Kurtis MacDermid to the New Jersey Devils on Friday night in exchange for a 2024 seventh-round draft pick and the rights to forward Zakhar Bardakov.
MacDermid, who turns 30 this month, has skated in 29 games for Colorado this season. He has scored two goals with 23 penalty minutes.
