The lawyer for the Mexican national convicted in the 2018 murder of University of Iowa student Mollie Tibbetts admitted that the migrant crisis is bringing people to the United States with "bad intentions," and claimed there could "absolutely" be a connection between his client and Georgia nursing student Laken Riley’s alleged murderer.
