I have a B-shaped stomach and it used to be one of my biggest insecurities – I’m finally realizing it’s not the enemy
A BODY positive influencer has shared a motivating message after showing off her belly.
Where she once felt insecure about its shape, she now was able to fully embrace her figure.
Kacey (@kaceygodden) shared the body-positive realization in a TikTok video.
Sporting a grey tank top and pajama set, she explained that her world changed once she realized her body wasn’t the problem.
“Realising your lower stomach was never the enemy!” she said.
“B-shaped stomachs are completely normal.”
Kacey lifted her top, turning to the side to show off her curved tummy.
Many of her viewers were glad to see themselves represented in her video.
“Omg I have a B stomach too and have always been self-conscious about it because of beauty standards,” said one commenter.
Similar to Kacey, however, she quickly realized that her mindset was the issue.
“Until I realized it is SO CUTE AND BEAUTIFUL!” she added.
Many were glad to see women like Kacey normalizing their stomachs in public.
“It’s so nice to see it on someone else… Everyone just wears tight dresses like nothing and it’s flat when you could never,” said one commenter.
“You just healed my inner child,” said another.
“I didn’t know this was normal! I’ve been struggling forever with it,” said a third.
“That made me cry, I hated my stomach for so long,” said a fourth.
