UD wins the A10 Tournament if....
Give me your 3 things you think UD needs to capture an A10 title.
I'll give you mine....
1) Bennett shows no limitations due to his thumb injury. I know its not his shooting hand, but being able to control the ball thru traffic will be huge. How will it feel the first time it gets banged on? If Bennett is essentially 100% to the naked eye that will got a long way.
2) Holmes plays like the A-10 player of the year each night out. Its a forgone conclusion that he is about to be named conference player of the year, so early congrats to him. UD will need him to play like that each night, especially vs teams that will throw a lot of size at him and play him physical. He has grown in that part of his game as the season has progressed, need him at top form in Brooklyn
3) Cheeks plays like an all a10 performer. I know he won't make any of the all A-10 teams, but for the last month and change, Cheeks has played like an all A-10 er. He's scoring in double digits on a regular basis, grabbing boards, picking up assists and steals. Seems like he has settled into his role on the team, UD needs him to be the glue guy that gives them a little bit of everything plus the ability to cut down the lane and attack the rim.
