MASS MoCA workers strike enters second week
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. (NEWS10) -- Workers at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art are still on strike, one week after the initial work stoppage. A representative for unionized employees at MASS MoCA in North Adams said management is unwilling to listen to their demands.
They are calling for higher wages and said a proposal for a 3.5 percent raise for all employees is not enough. Negotiations began in October.
The museum is still open six days a week.
