New Delhi: Mumbai middle order batter Shreyas Iyer was spotted dancing after Mumbai beat Vidarbha in the final of Ranji Trophy at Wankhede Stadium on Thursday. Ajinkya Rahane-led Mumbai beat Vidarbha by 169 runs to clinch their 42nd Ranji title.
Shreyas Iyer who scored 7 and 95 in the final was seen dancing after his team’s victory and the video of cricketer is going viral on social sphere, here is the clip.

However, Iyer was not there at the field for the second consecutive day due to back spasms. Iyer’s back issues have kept him out of the Indian team numerous times. Last year he missed out on India’s Asia Cup clash against Sri Lanka due to back spasms.
Iyer made a comeback in ODI World Cup which was played in India in 2023 where he showed lethal form throughout the tournament. He scored 531 runs in the marquee event which helped India to reach the final unbeaten.
Iyer also missed the recently concluded Test series against England after he suffered discomfort in his back during the second Test. He also went on to miss out on Mumbai’s quarter-final clash against Baroda due to back spasms.
