Poughkeepsie man arrested on drug charges
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Poughkeepsie man was arrested in connection to a drug sale investigation, according to the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office Drug Task Force. Tyrone Moye, 37, was charged with four counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Additional charges are reportedly pending.
The Drug Task Force launched an investigation at the beginning of the year into the sale of fentanyl and other drugs at 455 Main Street in Poughkeepsie. Agents identified an alleged narcotics dealer operating in the area, resulting in a search warrant being issued for the residence, which was executed on March 20.
During the search, agents located a handgun as well as quantities of fentanyl, crack cocaine, handgun ammunition and rifle ammunition within the home. The investigation resulted in Moye's arrest at the scene.
