'Stick it to brain tumors' women's hockey tournament at Union
SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The annual "Stick it" to brain tumors women's hockey tournament is returning to Union College at the Messa Ice Rink on Friday and will run until Monday. The tournament aims to raise money to fight pediatric brain tumors.
A basket raffle, a silent auction with sports memorabilia, including a signed jersey from Alexis Lafrenière of the New York Rangers, signed cleats from former Bills safety Micah Hyde, handcrafted items, and a concession stand will be a part of the event. 16 teams from New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts will be in the tournament.
All money raised will benefit Johns Hopkins and the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.
