Scott Munn says Daniel Levy is ‘incredibly invested’ in Tottenham’s success 

Tottenham’s chief football officer Scott Munn has said that Daniel Levy is extremely driven to make the club successful and admitted that he has thoroughly enjoyed working closely with the Tottenham chairman.

Spurs fans have been calling for Levy to take a step down from running the footballing side of the club for some time and the Tottenham chairman has done that slowly but surely over the last few years.

Perhaps the biggest move he made in that direction was appointing Munn as his number two, with the Australian taking charge of all footballing decisions at N17, including the academy and the women’s side.

However, that move has not shielded Levy from criticism, with the 62-year-old continuing to be an unpopular figure among large swaths of the Tottenham fan base.

His critics will argue that the Spurs chairman cares only about profits and not about success on the pitch but that has been refuted by Munn, who insisted that his boss is singularly focused on making the club successful.

When asked about working with Levy, the 50-year-old told Optus Sport: “Daniel is incredibly invested in the club, personally and professionally, and I don’t think one person has a greater single focus on success for the club than him and I feel absolutely privileged to work with him and the support he gives to me and the entire football team is unconditional. I just hope we’re able to repay the faith he’s put in us.”

Munn will obviously only have positive things to say about his boss but it is worth noting that almost everyone who has worked with Levy, including former Spurs players, talk about how driven he is to ensure that the club succeeds both on and off the pitch.
