The Sun have revealed that the race for Ivan Toney’s signature now looks set to be between Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and West Ham United after Arsenal cooled their interest in the striker.

Toney, who will enter the final year of his contract this June, has made no secret of his desire to leave Brentford, even admitting to Sky Sports recently that he is dreaming of making a big move this summer.

The Sun now claim that the centre-forward is expected to leave the Gtech Community Stadium at the end of this season irrespective of whether the Bees stay up.

The report states that Arsenal’s interest in Toney has now cooled, with the Gunners now studying other number nines instead. As things stand, it looks to be a three-way battle for the Brentford striker, with Tottenham, Chelsea and West Ham all ready to swoop for him.

According to the update, although the 27-year-old is also attracting interest from aboard, his preference is to remain in the Premier League, with all three aforementioned London clubs now expressing interest in the player.

The outlet reveals that both Spurs and the Blues see Toney as an ideal fit for their system but it is pointed out that the West London club would first have to sell some players before they can make a move for the England international.
