‘That body… she puts me to shame’ people say as 62-year-old ‘queen of CrossFit’ with super fit body poses in a bikini

A 62-YEAR-old fitness influencer has wowed the internet with her age-defying physique.

Gina Viana recently stunned fans when she appeared in an Instagram video alongside celebrity personal trainer Carol Vaz.

Carol posted a clip of herself motivating Gina as the toned gym-lover gave it her all on a hack squat machine.

The PT wrote: “No matter our age, working out is a time for mental cleansing, teaching us to face challenges and empowering us as women.

“Exercise is a lifesaver.”

Gina is determined to not let her age hold her back when it comes to fitness.

She’s currently aiming to qualify for the CrossFit Games in the women’s 60-64 age division.

And she’s become something of an online celebrity herself, boasting 676,000 followers on Instagram.

She describes herself in her bio as an “over-60 CrossFitter” and calls the training “a lifestyle”.

One of her popular clips shows her showing off her six-pack as she keeps fit on the beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

She’s accompanied by her daughter, who shares her mum’s love of tattoos.

PT Carol’s 6.7 million followers couldn’t believe what they were seeing.

One commented: “Oh my God, at 62 she’s put me to shame, she totally nailed it, what a goddess.”

Another wrote: “Wow, I’m telling you, she’s so gorgeous, marvellous, that’s right, age is just a number, only those who want to age do, starting from the mind.”

Meanwhile, one remarked: “Gina is wonderful, inspiring, the queen of CrossFit. Love you, Gina.”

According to the NHS website, older adults should do some type of physical activity every day. 

The website states: “It can help to improve your health and reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke.

“Speak to a GP first if you have not exercised for some time, or if you have medical conditions or concerns. 

“Make sure your activity and its intensity are appropriate for your fitness.”

Adults over 65 should do “activities that improve strength, balance and flexibility on at least 2 days a week” and “do at least 150 minutes of moderate intensity activity a week or 75 minutes of vigorous intensity activity if you are already active, or a combination of both.”
