I’m a celebrity hairstylist and my 2-ingredient anti-aging DIY serum will grow your hair fast – it also adds shine
CELEBRITY hairstylist Marco Maranghello is used to grooming stars like JLo, but even more importantly, he knows how to regrow your hair.
The best part is you don’t even need to sit in his chair – or spend big bucks – to get rapid results.
Known for his behind-the-scenes of Fashion Week styling and commercial photo shoots, Marco spills the beans on how to lengthen your locks.
“Rosemary is great but I like to mix it with aloe vera. The key is to take all the leaves off and not use any of the other parts,” Marco Maranghello told The U.S. Sun.
To achieve a fuller look fast, his DIY serum secret is to turn the rosemary into a ball and then mix it with one liter of water.
“You have to boil the rosemary. I boil it really good so that I get this really great concentrate,” he said.
“Then I take out the aloe vera with a spoon and put it all together in the blender.
“Aloe is good for the scalp because it is such a healing plant.
“That’s why you use it when you burn yourself.”
Aside from growing hair, Maranghello recommends rosemary, a “classic ancient product” for other uses as well.
“It has such a delicious smell and is also just as good for the skin.
“Anything that feels good and doesn’t dry out is usually also good for the hair.”
GROW UP
Just rub the mixture into your scalp on a daily basis and watch the mane-growing magic happen.
“It sends a message to the scalp to grow,” he said.
“It’s about cleaning your cuticle. You start over again and make sure nothing is clogged.”
The hair cuticle is the outermost part of the hair shaft.
It is formed from dead cells, overlapping in layers, which form scales and that strengthen and protect the shaft.
His sister is also a fan of the easy-to-make mix, mostly because of its all-natural properties.

TAMING BUT NOT TOXIC
“Some hair items that you buy include chemicals that aren’t good to go out in the sun with so going organic is ideal,” he said.
“I think it’s perfect because a lot of hair products have a lot of alcohol and you don’t want that seeping in.”
Avocado is another alternative but he also uses it for one reason.
“I always wind up eating it,” he said.
BACK TO YOUR ROOTS
The mix is also meant to help combat the effects of aging.
“We need to stimulate the roots. At the first sign of hair thinning, and before bald spots appear, that’s when we need to attack,” he said.
“This will help not only keep what we already have but also give strength to the roots to regrow the hair.”
