A MONEY-SAVVY woman has amazed home cooks after finding a highly sought-after casserole dish for a bargain price.
She spent considerable time looking for the classic cast iron dish to add to her collection before purchasing.
Liz Marie (@liz_marie_bakes) has garnered almost 15,000 followers on TikTok, where she shares her love of cooking.
The foodie said she had spent months “religiously” looking for a Dutch oven before spotting a Le Creuset Cast Iron Heart Casserole dish at Goodwill.
The versatile dish can be used to make one-pot recipes, casseroles, as well as soups, and bread.
The cookware was an eye-watering $220 before it sold out on the brand’s website, but Liz paid just a fraction of the cost.
She showed the inside and out of the heart-shaped red dish as she spoke in her kitchen about how much she bought it for.
Liz said it was priced at $9.99 but she paid just $5.72 because she had a 50% off coupon.
She admitted that she began to cry at the checkout because she was so “excited” after visiting the store up to six times a week in search of the dish previously.
“I hope you guys love this thrift find as much as I do,” she said.
Liz said there’s usually a coupon on the receipt if you donate to Goodwill and sign up for their texts.
Viewers were in awe of her budget-friendly buy with over 7,800 people liking the video and others taking to the comment section in shock.
“I literally gasped when I saw the price,” one person wrote.
“Dude that’s a freaking STEAL for Le Creuset,” another commented.
