Corinth man jailed on attempted assault charge
BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Joseph Harold Murauskas, 45, of Corinth, was sentenced to eight years incarceration for attempted assault in the first degree. Murauskas pled guilty to the charge on January 12.
According to the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office, Murauskas was involved in a domestic dispute on Chapman Street in Corinth on March 25, 2023. During the dispute, he reportedly assaulted a female victim, causing serious injury.
The victim was treated on scene and taken to the Saratoga Hospital. She was then taken to the Albany Medical Center for further treatment.
