Natalie Portman May Find Herself With No Shortage of Dates Amid Her Divorce

Natalie Portman just revealed that she pulled off a super-stealth move and quietly divorced Benjamin Millepied, her husband of 11 years after his alleged infidelity. That is a tough moment in anyone’s life, but a millionaire matchmaker is saying that Portman is her No. 1 dating request if and when the Oscar winner is ready to be romanced again.

Amy Van Doran, CEO of The Modern Love Club, told Page Six that she’s had almost 40 men request that she contact Portman for a possible love match. “The ink had not even dried from her divorce papers and already, I had gotten three emails from my matchmaking clients specifically asking me to set them up with Natalie Portman,” she explained. “There’s something about Natalie.” It’s important to note that the Black Swan star is not one of her clients, so some of her millionaires are putting in a pretty tall order. 

Van Doran even went as far as to post an Instagram Story asking if anyone could connect her with Portman, but alas, no luck. Instead, it had the opposite effect with “35 more earnest requests from men also insisting that they too should be introduced to Natalie.” Portman is hot, hot, hot right now! The matchmaker was curious as to why “all these men, all felt qualified to date Natalie Portman,” especially when it’s just “days after her divorce was finalized.”

The other detail that has Van Doran scratching her head is that her typical clients prefer a woman whose schedule is wide open so they can focus on the millionaire. “The men requesting Natalie tend to be searching for women 15 years younger and with no kids, and typically less professionally ambitious,” she noted of the people who seek her dating services. “For Natalie, they are willing to overlook their typical criteria.”

Portman might also be geographically undesirable because she’s currently living in Paris with her two children, son Aleph, 12, and daughter Amalia, 6, whom she is co-parenting with Millepied. That isn’t a dealbreaker for Van Doran’s clients, though, who are ready to woo Portman whenever she’s ready.
