Amazon launches same-day prescription delivery in NYC
NEW YORK (PIX11) – Amazon is now offering same-day delivery for prescription medication in New York City.
The online retailer said the process takes advantage of small-scale facilities stocked with the most common medications.
The medications will then be delivered using e-bikes. Artificial intelligence will handle much of the preparations for pharmacists before they fill the prescription, according to Amazon.
