HE’S A LATCHICO (3.07 Fontwell, nap)
Gary Moore has lots to shout about at his local track and this six-year-old has been running in hotter contests than this. He was kyboshed by an error last time but he usually jumps well and has had a little nudge down the weights. This trip is ideal and he has no problem with testing conditions.
GOLDWYN (2.10 Wetherby, nb)
Hit the post when second at Newcastle last time. That was his second good run since joining trainer Mark Walford and the drop back to two miles looks a smart move. He should be good enough to take this.
LIGHTNING MAQUEEN (4.52 Fontwell, treble)
Is another Moore runner to watch. The yard have a fine record in bumpers here and won this race 12 months ago. This son of Jack Hobbs went close in a solid contest at Kempton latest.
SUPER HIT (7.30 Southwell, Lucky 15)
Didn’t enjoy the muddling pace when fourth on handicap debut at Wolver. He earlier scored with lots in hand and Chelmsford and there are several front-runners in this.
