A CORONATION Street star looks unrecognisable as she lands a huge new job.
Child actress Matilda Freeman, who played Summer Spellman in the ITV soap, looked completely transformed in her new role for ITV’s new drama Passenger.
Passenger follows former Met Police Detective Riya Ajunwa, played by Wunmi Mosaku.
She’s got her hands full investigating a bunch of weird happenings in the small town of Chadder Vale.
From strange disappearances to unexpected reappearances, Riya’s got to work hard to convince the locals that things aren’t as simple as they seem.
The Bay’s Daniel Ryan and Barry Sloane also stars, along with former Corrie stars Debbie Rush and Jack James Ryan.
Matilda plays the role of Lilly Wells, and took to Instagram to share screenshots of herself in character.
She has freckles on her nose and has ditched her blonde locks for a bright auburn red style, making her look world’s away from her character in Coronation Street.

The actress played Summer Spellman in Corrie from 2017-2020, before Harriet Bibby took over the role.
Last night’s episode saw the character leave the cobbles after accepting a placement at Boston university in America.
Summer hesitated to accept the offer because she wasn’t ready to bid farewell to Paul Foreman (Peter Ash), who is battling motor neurone disease.
Paul told Summer that studying at Boston university is an offer too good to turn down.
When she first left the soap, she said: “I’d like to say thank you to my second family, the cast, crew and viewers who have supported me during my time on the cobbles.
“After three and a half lovely years I felt it was time for a change and I’m excited to be starting that next chapter with a new role.”
She explained to fans that she left “to be able to work on other shows/films/projects”.
She added: “When you work at Corrie you’re under a contract which means you can’t work on anything else while you’re there – so it was quite limiting.”
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
