Evicted Mike Lindell says he didn't pay rent to make it 'easier' on landlord
MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell explained his eviction from a Minnesota warehouse by suggesting he didn't pay rent as a favor to his landlord.
A judge this week said Lindell would be evicted for owing First Industrial, L.P. more than $217,000.
"All I'm hearing is Mike Lindell's in bankruptcy," podcaster Steve Bannon told the pillow executive Thursday. "Are you going bankrupt? Are they seizing all the buildings over at, over at MyPillow?"
Lindell, who was wearing a bathrobe for the interview, called the story of his eviction "regurgitated news."

"Last year we moved, we had one warehouse, I have many buildings in Shakopee, Minnesota, and this was a warehouse we sub-rented to a candy company," he explained.
"They moved out in December. A new company was moving in that sold sugar beets and they, uh, they pulled out at the last minute."
"And I worked it out with the landlords, and they said, you know what, for you guys, just get out of there," he continued. "It's easier for them to get a renter than it is for us to get a sub-renter."
"There's no employees and we haven't been in there for a year, everybody. So we're not going anywhere and that's because of the War Room Posse, you guys."
However, reports claimed that Lindell had actually been evicted by a judge because he owed more than $200,000 in rent from the last two months.
Court documents showed Lindell had received at least four notices of default at the warehouse.
"The latest eviction notice says the company is behind in payments for February and March, owing Delaware-based First Industrial, L.P. more than $217,000 for rent and other charges for the facility located at 4701 Valley Boulevard South," a report in the StarTribune stated.
