Report: Spurs are one of four Premier League clubs chasing Juventus starlet
Tottenham have competition on their hands if they want to finally sign Samuel Iling-Junior from Juventus, with Everton, Brighton, and West Ham also keen on the young winger.
It has been suggested for a long time now that Spurs could be the club to bring Iling-Junior back to England, with the Lilywhites mentioned in conjunction with the former Chelsea youngster in the lead-up to the January transfer window (TV Play).
Ultimately, Spurs opted to sign Timo Werner to add depth in the winger roles until the end of the season, but it remains to be seen whether the German will be retained beyond the summer.
Iling-Junior’s situation continues to be just as uncertain, with Gazzetta dello Sport (as relayed by Sport Witness) claiming last month that the young attacker could be sacrificed to help Juventus seek out other targets in the transfer market this summer.

That will be interesting news for Tottenham, of course, but the Lilywhites will face competition to sign Iling-Junior this summer. As per sources at Football Insider, the race to secure the services of the 20-year-old now includes Everton, Brighton, and West Ham, too.
It is thought all four Premier League clubs are “plotting moves” for the Englishman, as Juventus look to “cash in” on a player who is heading into the final year of his contract.
The English sides are hoping to “capitalise” on Juventus’ need to sell, but Iling-Junior has also attracted interest from German clubs Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich.

We’ve been linked with Iling-Junior for so long now that I would not be surprised if he is the one we go for this summer. I’d imagine it’s a toss-up between keeping Werner, or going for a younger talent who may be a little bit more versatile. Both would cost roughly the same, but I’d be tempted to go for Iling-Junior.
