Jeremy Clarkson shares emotional update after beloved pet suffers painful injury months after heartbreaking loss
JEREMY Clarkson shared a sad update about family life on the farm.
Popular TV presenter Jeremy revealed the tragic news about his beloved pet dog Sansa on Thursday.
The 63-year-old updated his fans on Instagram by thanking his local vets as he shared a photo of Sansa with a cone on its head, shortly after it received treatment for its eye.
The former Top Gear host captioned the snap: “A huge thankyou to our local vets who saved Sansa’s eye this afternoon. A thorn went right through it.”
Jeremy isn’t new to sad news about his pets as his girlfriend Lisa Hogan’s beloved 26-year-old horse Bertie died last Christmas.
She was left heartbroken as Jeremy shared the news in his column for The Times.
Jeremy said: “When Lisa’s horse died, I was upset because I could see she was. And because I would have to deal with it.”
The couple first knew “something was probably wrong” when they got the news that Bertie was “lying on his side, in a stream.”
Tragically, when Jeremy arrived at the scene he found Bertie was already dead.
Meanwhile, Amazon Prime Video show Clarkson’s Farm has been renewed for a fourth season.
Jeremy made the announcement on social media the day after he confirmed his exit from The Grand Tour.
To celebrate the news, Jeremy and his co-star Kaleb Cooper tried to round up their sheep to spell out “IV,” which is four in Roman Numerals. Unsurprisingly, it didn’t exactly go to plan, and the pair ended up arguing.
“You’re doing it in the wrong place. You blithering idiot!” Jeremy yelled at Kaleb, 25, who’d positioned the “I” after the “V” so it read six rather than four.
“I’m trying to say four … I wanted to write ‘IV,’ a four, to announce that the four series of Clarkson’s Farm is coming,” Jeremy explained.
