1 hurt in fire on Whitfield Avenue Wednesday night
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — One person was hurt in a fire on Whitfield Avenue in Buffalo late Wednesday night, according to fire officials.
Crews responded to 364 Whitfield just before 11:30 p.m. Wednesday. In the blaze, one resident suffered burns and was transported to ECMC for treatment.
Damage at the home is estimated at around $475,000, while exposure damages at two nearby addresses is estimated at another $35,000. Two people are being assisted by the Red Cross.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
